In 1996, after graduating with a degree from Johnson & Whales University Culinary Arts Program, Guy traveled to Arizona then Florida working for the Westin Hotel Group as well as a small independent restaurant group in Naples, FL. He started out at the National Hotel & Resort on Block Island, Rhode Island as a server during his summers off from college. Since Guy has been in the restaurant business for over twenty years from the front to the back of the house. Later, moving back to the Boston area in 1999, he took a position with Le Meridian Hotel group as a chef in the banquet facilities, refining his catering skills from at upscale hotel group. In 2002, he successfully opened his first Servizio Corporate Café in Burlington with the idea to take all of his skills and experience and create a corporate café and catering service that is second to none. A dedicated business and family man, Guy takes pride in providing the freshest quality food and to his customers.
Chef Kelly Pearsons developed an interest in cooking when she married her husband Jeff. He provided plenty of raw ingredients from their backyard garden and that was the birth of an undiscovered passion. Jeff, affectionately known as “The Food Critic” and their two boys became the “test kitchen”.
In 1997, she opened Kelly’s Creations, a full service caterer, specializing in events from intimate gatherings to one-of-a-kind weddings. As her menus for these events developed, it became apparent that her interest leaned more toward the restaurant business and corporate catering.
In 2003, a chance meeting with Guy brought her to Servizio. She is always inspired by seasonal ingredients that are locally available. Through her travels, she is exposed to a range of flavors and styles that she brings to the Servizio kitchen. Kelly crafts daily specials along with the standard offerings and enjoys creating personalized menus for her corporate clients. Since becoming Executive Chef, Servizio has been awarded Best Caterer in the Burlington Area every year.
Kelly believes that food is a universal language. Whether you are ordering for a corporate meeting, planning a special event, or coming into the café for lunch you should feel like you are in Kelly’s home with her as your personal chef.
